Some of the Musicians that I've photographed since 1973

Becoming a professional Pop photo-journalist in the Seventies was the most exciting time for me

“Unlike most people in Show Business I always dread the thought of photo shoots, but there are some photographers who make it a loss less stressful and sometimes even ‘fun’.

Rosie is one of those people.”

“… It’s funny, Rosie called me out of the blue – we hadn’t spoken for quite some time, but that very week I was decorating my new ‘work room’, and hanging some fab photos of ‘me’ – taken by Rosie at my “Hippodrome” shows (1985+) … SPOOKY!

I’ve also done several interviews with Rosie for various magazines in the past, some of which I have kept in my own scrapbooks.

Rosie always showed an interest in the “Artiste” and obviously did her homework: she never started her interview with the dreaded “… so Hazell, tell us all about yourself!!!??”

She’s also got a sense of humour – you’ve got to be able to laugh at yourself – that’s most important for us girls – especially in this industry!

Good on you Rosie!!”

“The first time we met I had been told to expect this interviewer for a couple of very important “Teeny” magazines. Then this ‘tiny teenager’ arrived at my dressing room door.

She was very nervous and we were wondering how the interview would turn out; never mind the pictures she took with her little camera.

We were knocked out with the results, so were the magazines and it wasn’t long before ‘Little Rosie’ became famous among the upper echelons of the pop glitterati; and she’s still going strong.”
